thatdamneddameSo one day I was like, you know what I like? Fathers and domestic AUs, I should try my hand at kid fic. That went down in a giant ball of flames as I started writing a story about Bucky losing his arm, and then in the middle of that I went to write a short little fix it that is now 10,000+ words, not even done, and like a wrecking ball to the feels.
Yesterday, however, in a valiant attempt to be a good friend and to make people happy, there was fic. And it was good.

Apparently the key to me writing happy things is to be in the middle of drowning myself in a bucket of my own tears. There are worse self-preservation techniques.
